The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps eligible households pay for winter heating and avoid service shutoff.

Applications for winter heating assistance usually open in early January and continue through April 30 or until funds run out. LIHEAP payments go directly to your utility provider.
