Connecting with the Next Generation

Our team visited classes at Prairie Grove Junior High and Maryetta Schools and participated in career fairs at Fayetteville High School, Indian Capital Technology Center (ICTC) Stilwell, Westville High School and Monitor Elementary School in Springdale. Students explored career paths, asked questions and learned more about the people and technology that power and connect their communities.
Students especially enjoyed the hands-on experiences. Linemen and fiber technicians brought bucket trucks and demonstrated tools and equipment used in the field, giving students a real-world perspective on the job.
These events are one way Ozarks Electric and OzarksGo stay involved in the communities we serve while helping inspire interest in the careers that keep those communities running.
