Last Chance to See These Shiloh Museum Exhibits
Time is running out to catch three special exhibits on local camera history at Shiloh Museum of Ozark History in Springdale. The following exhibits close on May 31. Admission is free. shilohmuseum.org
Andrew Kilgore's Fayetteville Townfolk is a portrait collection created in 1981, when the noted photographer and former University of Arkansas instructor captured over 3,000 black-and-white images of local residents.
Capturing Time: Historic Ozark Cameras explores the evolution of photography in the Ozarks through historic cameras, notable local photographers and hands-on experiences spanning from the 1800s to the digital age.
One Step Higher: Five Generations of a Black Ozark Family shares the story of Betty Hayes Davis and her family in Fayetteville throughout the Civil Rights era and beyond.
