Area Students Chosen for Washington Youth Tour

Five local students have been selected to represent Ozarks Electric on the annual Youth Tour to Washington, D.C., this summer.

The program gives high-school juniors a firsthand look at how government works while connecting them with peers from across the country. Participants visit historic sites, meet elected officials and learn more about how electric cooperatives serve their communities.

They will also receive a $500 scholarship from Ozarks Electric, awarded during their senior year.
