Learning Never Retires
U of A’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute offers adults a chance to learn, explore and connect
Retirement doesnʼt have to mean slowing down. At the University of Arkansasʼ Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), it can be the beginning of learning something entirely new.
Tailored to adults 50 and older, OLLI welcomes participants from Arkansas, Oklahoma and beyond. The program offers noncredit classes and workshops with no grades or homework.
Classes range from Arkansas history and science to technology, literature, wellness and arts.
Many classes are held at OLLIʼs Fayetteville center, while guided hikes, local tours and other activities take place throughout Northwest Arkansas. Registration for the fall semester is now open, with offerings including smartphone skills, tours of the University of Arkansasʼ innovative mass timber buildings and an inside look at the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine in Bentonville.
A $50 annual membership isnʼt required, but it provides discounted class fees, exclusive events and social gatherings. Membership is tax deductible.
Whether youʼre interested in meeting new people or discovering something new, OLLI offers a way to stay curious and connected.
